Lodha World School has a state-of-the-art, air-conditioned computer lab in the school premises equipped with PCs having the latest software installed and provided with an internet connection. This is where students learn the latest technology to make them tech-savvy and at par with global trends.

At Lodha World School, Palava, as part of the ’Experiential learning/design thinking‘ initiative, the school has taken a small but sure-footed step towards inculcating experiential learning in students. As part of this endeavor, Lodha World School, Palava organised an Annual Project Display on 28th October, 2017 in which students from the third to tenth standard showcased different projects. It was a learning experience which had a far-reaching impact on the young minds of our students making the process of learning dynamic and interactive.

  • It was a matter of immense happiness and pride for Lodha World School, Palava that Ms. Helly Dhamesha of class XA was selected to be a part of the Half Ticket Children's Jury this year at the Jio MAMI 19th Mumbai Film Festival with Star.
  • DAAN Utsav
  • Lodha World School, Palava celebrated “Daan Utsav” on 6th and 7th October, 2017 through a Diwali Mela which was an initiative conceptualised and executed entirely by the students of the school. There were game stalls with most interesting games, put up by the more than 450 students of Std VIII-X with prizes to be won. Food stalls were also set up and the entire school geared up to celebrate a Diwali Mela, with the proceeds going to “Ratna Nidhi Charitable Trust”, which is a trust set up for children suffering from malnutrition.

The Founder Principal, is a dynamic leader who can balance both being a passionate facilitator and a collaborative administrator within a learning community. She has taken up the challenge of leading a team of reflective practitioners who believe that childhood is a journey, not a race and we need to make a difference, one day at a time. She believes that each child has a story that needs to be heard and we must find time to hear those stories. It is important to remember that we teach children, not subjects. She has had the good fortune to have worked in some of the most well- known educational institutions of Kolkata and Mumbai under the leadership and guidance of true educationists and administrators. In this journey of three decades, she has been truly blessed to have had a rich experience across all sections of a school right from the Pre-Primary Section to the Secondary Section in various capacities. She has completed her B.A. in English Honours and B.Ed. from the Calcutta University. She also holds Masters Degree in English and Education both from the Mumbai University. She, to her credit has a Post Graduate Diploma in Education Management from NMIMS, Mumbai.

Admission Process

The admissions process at The Shri Ram Universal School has been designed to make certain that students are appropriately placed at appropriate grade levels while maintaining the integrity and consistency of the school program and policies. Proper placement will ensure that those students admitted have a higher probability of a successful learning experience & outcomes. School admission procedures at TSUS will be sensitive to the needs of the larger community and would be based on a set of guidelines/criterion such as:

  • Performance in the assessment
  • Communication skills
  • Socio-emotional intelligence
  • Child’s aspirations vis-à-vis parental aspirations
  • For admissions to Nursery, KG and Grade I there will be parent interactions wherein three members from the school team (Principal, Academic Coordinator and 1 Teacher) would be present
  • For students seeking admission to Grade II and above there will be an age appropriate admission test. The children will be tested on languages, mathematical concepts and general awareness

Age Criteria

  • Nursery : Minimum Age should be 3 years as on 30th September of the year of admission
  • Junior Kg : Minimum Age should be 4 years as on 30th September of the year of admission.
  • Senior Kg : Minimum Age should be 5 years as on 30th September of the year of admission
  • Grade 1 : Minimum Age should be 6 years as on 30th September of the year of admission

Admission Forms along with the School’s Prospectus would be available at the School Admission Office. The required documents to be submitted along with the forms are:

  • For Entry Grades (Nursery to Grade I) : Copy of birth certificate, proof of residence.
  • For Grades II onwards: Copy of birth certificate, proof of residence, Report Card and a transfer certificate from the previous school.

A student’s application will pass through different stages facilitated by effective communication, between parents and the school’s admission team.
